Delighted children enjoyed a host of fun activities, entertainment, and treats at a special event held by a community group yesterday.

More than 75 youngsters attended the Summer Time Fun Day which took place at St Marys and St Andrew’s Church Hall in Dollis Hill Lane, Dollis Hill.

Now in its fourth year, the event was organised by the Brent Community Area Watch (BCWA), who raised the £1,100 cost through generous donations.

All children were treated to a goody bag bursting with books, teddies, crayons and other fun toys.

PCSO Daniel Bures was also handed an award by BCWA for his hard work in the community to keep the area safe.

Tony Antoniou, chairman of BCWA, said: “It was a fantastic day and everyone had fun.”
