Allotment plots are up for grab across the borough
Green-fingered residents in Brent who fancy living the good life are being invited to apply for an allotment pitch in the borough.
Seven sites in the borough have vacancies for anyone who wants to try their hand at growing their own food.
Allotment growing is an active and popular way of growing your own healthy food and costs 22p a day for a standard size-five pole plot.
This is about half the size of a tennis court and is big enough to grow enough fruit and vegetables for a small family.
Interested parties should call Brent Council on 020 8937 5619.
