Brent Police visited a total of 495 premises in the borough as part of a Met crackdown on unlicensed businesses.

Operation Condor, which took place across all London boroughs last week, saw officers targeting shops, pubs, clubs, unlicensed minicabs and other businesses.

During the two-day operation a total of 16 people were arrested in Brent for offences ranging from tax evasion to drug possession.

A clampdown on dodgy traders resulted in a shop keeper facing legal action after an underage youth was sold a knife and officers also seized four cars and issued two cannabis warnings.
