Brent’s Fostering team toured the borough this week as part of a national campaign to attracted people from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
The team visited a number of places including Kingsbury Library, Willesden Library, Bridge Park Leisure Centre and ASDA Park Royal to promote fostering and adoption among LGBT residents.
A special information evening took place at the Brent Civic Centre yesterday which gave experienced foster carers and adopters the opportunity to talk about how it changed their lives for the better.
