A host of animals are descending on Neasden in a free event aimed at bringing the countryside to a built up part of the borough.
Brent Fun Day at St Raphael’s Children’s Centre, in Rainborough Close, is taking place this Saturday from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Farm animals including ponies, baby lambs, rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs will be at the event. There will be music, fun activities for children, including creative writing or DJ sessions, and a barbeque.
People can also access free health checks, employment advice and information on how to access council services.
The event is supported by Barnardos children’s charity, John Sisk construction and St Raphael’s Residents Association.
Cllr Zaffar Van Kalwala, Stonebridge representative, said: “I’m delighted that residents will be able to enjoy the delights of the countryside right here in Brent.”
