Conservative councillor Joel Davidson is aiming to boost Polish representation at local council level.
An event at the Polish Catholic Mission next month hopes to provide the borough’s fastest growing community with an overview of how local councils work and a councillor’s role in it.
Cllr Davidson said: “We have a thriving Polish community in Brent, making up 3.5 per cent of the borough’s overall population.
“However, only half are registered to vote and it’s important to ensure that the community has a strong voice electorally to ensure the best local services and amenities and to shape their local area.”
The event takes place in Walm Lane, Willesden Green, on February 9.
