Council chiefs have launched a free mobile phone app which lets residents inform them of fly-tips, litter, graffiti and other street problems.
The Cleaner Brent app lets residents report and take photographs of the street issues, using their iPhone which are submitted to the council’s contractors Veolia, who will then take action.
Cllr Roxanne Mashari, Brent Council’s lead member for environment and neighbourhoods, said: “This smartphone app is a fast and easy way to report fly tipping and a range of waste and recycling issues.
“I would urge everyone to download this free app and to play their part in reporting illegal fly tipping in Brent.”
