People in Brent are being urged to register their vote if they have not already done so.
The local elections on May 3 are an opportunity for electors to choose the political candidate and party they wish to represent them.
Carolyn Downs, Brent Council’s chief executive and returning officer for Brent, said: “These elections are an opportunity to make your voice heard and have a say on who represents you in Brent.”
She added: “But time is running out and none of this is possible if you’re not registered to vote by midnight on April 17.”
Those who will not be at home on polling day have until 5pm on April 18 to register for a postal vote, or until 5pm on April 25 for a proxy vote.
Polls for all 63 seats of Brent’s council chamber will open at 7am and close at 10pm on voting day.
Registering takes about five minutes online at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
