Operation Fusion, an intelligence-led crackdown on serious crime in the borough, targeted around 38 addresses in the hunt for suspects and their loot.
A sawn-off shotgun was discovered in a traveller’s site in Lynton Close, Neasden, and around 2 kilos of cannabis was seized at another address.
The operation was kick-started at 6am and raids were carried out across the borough until late yesterday evening.
Youths suspected of targeting pizza delivery scooters for their cash, food and vehicles were arrested in South Kilburn and the Times witnessed raids in Balmoral Road, Willesden, and Wood Road, Stonebridge.
Detective Sergeant Jim Halkett, who led Operation Fusion told the Times they aimed to stop criminals in their tracks.
He said: “We aim to significantly disrupt the criminal activities taking place in Brent.
“This will improve the quality of life of law-abiding residents.”
