Boy, three, dies after being hit by car in Queensbury

A three-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in Queensbury.

Police were called to the scene in Lowther Road near Queensbury tube station at 5.15pm yesterday.

The tot sadly died on the way to hospital just after 6.30pm.

The female drover of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

The incident is being investigated by detectives at Alperton Traffic Garage.
