A boy has been hit by a car in Kensal Rise this afternoon.
The child suffered a leg injury after he was struck by the vehicle in Chamberlayne Road at around 4.30pm.
His age and condition is unknown.
Calvin Robinson, a school teacher and political activist who lives on the busy thoroughfare, was at the scene and witnessed paramedics treating the boy.
He said: “They were there for several minutes before they took him to hospital in an ambulance.”A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 4.22pm to reports of a road traffic accident on Chamberlayne Road, Kensal Rise.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car, with the first of our medics arriving on scene in under four minutes.
“We treated one patient for a leg injury and took them as a priority to a West London hospital.”
A police spokeswoman told the Times they were unaware of an incident.
