An 11-year-old boy is fighting for his life and he was struck by a car outside Brent Cross Shopping Centre yesterday evening.

The boy was hit by the vehicle in Prince Charles Drive at around 5.30pm.

He was rushed to a hospital in east London by air ambulance and he is currently in a critical condition.

The driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit will investigate the incident.
