A FIRE tore through two neighbouring buildings, billowing thick grey smoke across nearby streets, writes Kate Ferguson.
Flames ripped through the two storey semi detached derelict buildings, destroying around half 80 per cent of the ground floor, and around half of the first floor and roof.
Fire crews were called to the scene, in Tilling Road, Brent Cross, at 11.20am this morning, and around 30 fire fighters battled the flames for nearly hours before extinguishing it at 3.30pm.
No one was injured.
A spokeswoman for London Fire brigade said: "We were called to an incident at 11.20am this morning.
"At this stage it is not thought there was anyone in the buildings.
