Building in Langham Gardens opened by Hoffman Foundation for Autism
Young adults struggling with autism have been given fresh hope after the unveiling of a new care unit in Wembley.
The building, in Langham Gardens, was been opened by the Hoffman Foundation for Autism (HFA) and will care for six people.
It is specifically aimed at young adults and teenagers who are either leaving full time education or are ready to transition from their permanent home into a service that will support and guide them and help gain independence.
Langham Gardens has been refurbished to the highest standard with Autism specific features such as a sensory room and garden, en suite bedrooms, under floor heating and non flicker lighting.
All the staff are experienced in working with people who have autism and are able to deal with complex and challenging needs.
HFA is a registered charity with nearly sixty years experience of providing a range of specialist services to adults with an autistic condition.
Next year HFA celebrates 60 years of providing quality services for people with autism.
