Investigators have launched a fresh appeal for information about an Australian woman who mysteriously vanished 14 years ago following a recent siting in Kilburn.

The mother of Jenenne-Ann Allen, 44, has made a plea for her daughter’s return after an investigation has revealed she was working in a cab office in Kilburn as recently as 2015.

It’s the first trace of Ms Allen since she went missing 17 September 2003, aged 31, shortly after leaving her home country.

A National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation into her disappearance established that she worked in a cab office during 2015, though it has found no trace of her whereabouts since.

Ms Allen is white, 5ft 5in and of slim build. She has hazel eyes and had brown, shoulder-length hair when she was last seen in 2003. She also has a distinctive mole above the right side of her lip.

In 2003 she was living with flatmates in South Croydon and was in regular contact with her family having entered the UK in 1998 with a four-year visa.

Margaret Law, Ms Allen’s mother, said: “No matter what she is going through we love her and would like her to come home. She has two nieces and a nephew that would dearly like to see her. We just don’t know why she is away. Your mother and brother would love you to get in contact and let us know you are OK.”

NCA officer Guy Wicker said: “We know Jenenne-Ann was working in Kilburn in 2015, so she may still be in the area. All anyone wants is to know that she’s safe and to offer her support if she needs it.”

Ian Roullier Missing People publicity coordinator, said: “Jenenne-Ann, if you are reading this, please call or text us in confidence on our free phone number, 116 000 to let us know you are ok. We can’t trace your call. We just want to provide you with the support you need and help you to be safe.”

Anyone who has seen Jenenne-Ann can also call or text Missing People anonymously on 116 000 or email 116000@missingpeople.org.uk. The charity’s helpline is operated by staff and volunteers 24 hours a day thanks to support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
