Chalkhill Community Trust need more people on board

Community members are encouraged to come on board and help with a multi-million pound development in Wembley.

During the redevelopment of Chalkhill more than £1.4million was raised through the sale of land.

That money is now being ploughed back into the community to be used for the continued development of the area.

The fund and its managers, The Chalkhill Community Trust, are now looking for three new trustees to come and board and oversee the continued regeneration of the estate.

Cllr Michael Pavey, a Barnhill ward councillor said: “We want to freshen up the Trust Fund.

“We want it to better reflect the Chalkhill community so if you’re dynamic and passionate about Chalkhill then get in touch.”

They are seeking two people to represent the community and one to represent local businesses.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 20 November 2012.
