Police are appealing for information to trace a mother who has gone missing from Northwick Park Hospital leaving her newborn baby behind.

Anna Chudy was last seen yesterday morning at around 10.30am when she was captured on CCTV leaving the hospital via its Accident and Emergency department with a man.

The 35-year-old left behind her son who she had given birth to by Caesarean section on Thursday.

Officers are concerned for her welfare and are keen to trace her to ensure she is safe and well.

The man is white, with short dark brown hair and he is tall with an athletic build.

He was wearing a black leather jacket with patches on the elbow and dark trousers.
