Two years ago a father from Kilburn failed to show up at his daughter’s 18th birthday party and has not been seen since.
Concerns continue to grow for the welfare of Robert Duff since his no-show at the celebrations held on January 13, 2013, at 3pm.
The evening before the 39-year-old accidentally left a voicemail on a family member’s phone.
During this call he was heard to be in the company of a man he called ‘Gal’ and officers have ascertained it was made in the Islington area.
Investigating officers have managed to trace his last sighting on January 13 when he withdrew cash from an ATM machine outside Sainsbury’s in Holloway Road, Islington, at around 11am.
The father-of-two has since vanished without trace.
A/Detective Sergeant Kevin Harvey from Brent Police said: “Robert has been missing for over two years and this is a very distressing time for his family. I urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call us immediately or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
“I would also appeal to Robert that if you are in any kind of trouble then we can help you, just call your family or the police to let us know you are safe.”
At the time of Mr Duff’s disappearance he was known to frequent the Holloway, Kentish Town, Islington and Camden areas.
He is around 5ft 7in – 5ft 8in tall and of slim build.
Anyone with information should call the Brent police Missing Person Unit on 020 8733 3771, or Missing People on 116 000.
