Conservatives in Hampstead and Kilburn are calling in the police over anti-Semitic graffiti found daubed on posters promoting parliamentary candidate Simon Marcus in Queen’s Park.
The graffiti, including a swastika, was discovered by canvassers yesterday.
Conservative agent David Douglas, who is set to report the daubings to police, said: “I’ve never actually seen an anti-Semitic daubing and the last place I expected to see any was in Hampstead and Kilburn at the general election, especially in a place like Queen’s Park which prides itself on being BBC-leaning and so liberal.
“It’s completely out of character with the area and disturbing.”
