Alperton has been given a facelift with the launch of contemporary apartments as part of a £520million regeneration for the area.
The development, on the former B&Q warehouse store site alongside Grand Union Canal, is a joint venture known as ‘243 Ealing Road’ between Network Housing Group and top building firm Hill.
The 441 apartments are located in seven nine to 14 storey high gloss aluminium towers, each with a private patio, terrace or balcony.
The towers, four of which overlook the canal, are linked via eight communal gardens, including an orchard, two play areas and an innovative sensory garden. Helen Evans, Network Housing Group’s chief executive said: “This is the start of one of the most exciting regeneration projects in West London.”
The 243 Ealing Road venture marks the start of a regeneration phase in the Vision for Alperton.
Plans are afoot for another 1,600 homes, new shops, schools, healthcare, green spaces and business premises over the next ten years.
