The Crest Academy in Neasden achieved it’s best ever A-level results as a record number of students head off to university.

Students at the academy have secured places at University of Westminster, Middlesex University, City University and University of Portsmouth amongst others.

Headteacher Mohsen Ojja expressed his pride at the record-breaking results: “Our vision at The Crest Academy is Every student ready for university, Every student a leader and it has been inspiring to see this group of Crest students excel and secure so many university places. We would like to wish everyone receiving their results todayevery success whatever they choose to do next.”

Ayesha Faisi, who achieved ABB in her A Levels, is looking forward to studying English literature at Queen Mary University. She said: “The teachers really pushed me on to do the best I could, they really care and go the extra mile to help when you need it”.

Students received positive results across the board, with the average points score per A Level entry increasing by more than 4%. Crest sixth form’s BTEC students also achieved fantastic results, with five medical science students achieving D* grades across the board – the highest grade possible.
