Preston Manor School celebrated another hugely successful year of A-levels, with many pupils exceeding expectations.
Eight Year 13’s achieved straight A* and A’s as the school recorded excellent results. Ravikumar Shah from Wembley will be heading to Cambridge university next month to study computer science after achieving A*s in computer science, further maths and physics. “I am so happy, I can’t believe this is happening to me. I am very grateful to all the teachers for the support and opportunities I was provided with,” he said.
Mahereen Nawaz and will be continuing her studies at London School of Economics to study Law after getting A*s in biology, history and maths. said “I can’t believe these results. These are better than I ever dreamt of – I can’t wait to start my course”.
Charlotte McGovern has secured her place at Leeds university to study Chinese and English, after A*s in art and English literature and an A grade in history. “Yeah! My grades are such a surprise, I’m so pleased I’m so excited – I’m lost for words!” Preston Manor head girl and boy also celebrated fantastic academic achievements with head girl Vaishali Raghvani achieving an A* and two A grades and Kushal Chudasama gaining three A grades.
Beth Kobel, headteacher at PMS said “I am so pleased for our students. Witnessing tears of pure joy and pride on results day is one of the many highlights of teaching. I would like to congratulate all of our students on their hard work!”
