A 48-hour Tube strike due to start tomorrow evening has been called off.

Workers were due to walkout over staffing issues and shift patterns which have been altered following the closure of ticket offices across the Tube.

Staff had been warned they faced losing a £500 bonus that will be paid once the night Tube starts if they carried out the planned industrial action.

The news has been announced on Transport for London’s website.
