A cafe in a north London garden centre has closed after seven years.
Jane's Garden Cafe was based at Birchen Grove next to The Welsh Harp, but owner Jane O'Hara closed the family-run coffee shop over the weekend.
Dog owners who were welcomed with treats for their pets and a bowl of fresh water - while there was also ice-cream, children's menu, and an adjoining play area.
The cafe also served cooked breakfasts, pastries, jacket potatoes, quiches, and burgers along with homemade cakes, ice-cream and drinks.
A note was posted on the Kingsbury Garden Centre's website saying: "Jane has now stepped away from running the café and it is currently closed.
"We would like to sincerely thank Jane for the many years she has been part of Birchen Grove Garden Centre, and for everything she has built here.
"She will be greatly missed by customers and our team alike. We will be reopening the café very shortly and will be running it ourselves.
"Our aim is to keep the friendly, independent feel that so many of you value. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make this transition.
"Please keep an eye on our social media and website for reopening updates."
Posting on the Next Door app one wrote: "Aw what a shame. I was just only there Saturday. It was expensive, however a nice treat from time to time...sad news!!!"
While another wrote: "What a shame. Honestly, apart from seasonal shopping, Jane’s Cafe was the main reason I visited the gardening centre. If commercial catering takes over, it’s never going to be the same."
A third wrote: "Oh no! Delicious cakes and always a snack of sausage for dogs. A great place to wander around the garden centre with friends and then sit in the well presented cafe area and enjoy ourselves."
And a fourth added: "This is devastating news how awful. Jane's cafe was was the best thing about the garden centre and Jane & her husband were such lovely people and kind to everyone. Me & my friend always took our dogs as they loved dogs and made us all feel welcome which is a rare thing these days."
A fifth person commented: "That is such a shame as Jane’s cafe was a must visit place when going to Birchen Grove Garden Centre - the welcome was always warm & the food was lovely. This cafe will be sadly missed on future visits."
Posting below tributes on the Wembley Matters Blogspot Jane's son Joe wrote: "I'm sure a few people reading this will have been served a coffee by me over the years (commonly referred to as "the boy").
"It is touching to read about how the cafe was a big part of people's lives, and I say to my parents now when you look back at the last seven years, the fact that people feel like that means that it was a success.
"Thank you to everyone for your unwavering support. I am sad to not be serving you coffee any more, but wish you all the best on behalf of everyone at the cafe."
