A man has been arrested after a major police chase around Kilburn, reports London Now.

Several police cars were seen zooming around Cricklewood and Kilburn, while a police helicopter circled around the area during the chase yesterday (April 21).

The chase eventually came to an end near the Webheath Estate at around 4pm, it is understood.

A man, 21, remains in custody after he was arrested on suspicion of multiple driving offences when the car failed to stop for police, reports our sister-site London Now.

He was later arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

A Met Police spokesperson said: β€œA 21-year-old man remains in custody after he was arrested for multiple driving offences when the car he was driving failed to stop for police in Brent on the afternoon of Tuesday, 21 April.

β€œHe was later arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.”
