A woman was rushed to hospital after she was struck by a car.

Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise is currently blocked by police, with buses being diverted from the area after the pedestrian was hit in Wrentham Avenue today (October 27) at 9.40am.

Emergency services attended and she was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Soon after the crash, Chamberlayne Road was blocked between Wrentham Avenue and Liddell Garden.

Now the road is partially blocked between Okehampton Road by Manor School and Wrentham Avenue, with slow traffic.

Bus routes including the 6, 52, 187 and 302 are being diverted.
