The new Big Brother house located in north west London was reportedly locked down with housemates ordered to stay indoors after a “security risk”.

The ‘social experiment’ reality show phenomenon made a comeback last week (October 8), as it returned to our screens on ITV after ending on Channel 5 in November 2018.

While viewers will look forward to the votes for the first eviction in tonight’s episode, reports have come in that the house was under lockdown following an incident.

This year, the Big Brother house is reportedly located in Garden Studios, a newly built studio in Waxlow Road, near to Harlesden.

Previously, Big Brother was filmed in Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, which is best known for being the home of The Crown, Strictly Come Dancing, The Chase and many more shows and films.

In a video seen by the Brent & Kilburn Times, a security alert was issued in the Brent studio yesterday (August 12), as a man flew a drone over the filming location.

The man, who is a YouTuber with over 131,000 subscribers, refused to leave and reportedly said his stunt was “fair game” as he was on a public highway.

In the video, the man managed to listen into crew conversations over the radio.

Security as well as members from the press team confronted the man, who said there "intimidation tactics" to "scare him off".

The video, which is 45 minutes long, shows the YouTuber arguing back when repeatedly asked to stop filming.

"If you keep coming towards me I will defend myself, stay back," he said.

A Big Brother spokesperson told papers: “We have robust and rigorous security measures in place across our site for the safety of the Big Brother house, production team and housemates. Safety and welfare is always a priority.”
