A man in his mid-20s was found with stab injuries and officers gave him CPR ahead of the arrival of paramedics, who continued to treat him before he was rushed to hospital.

He was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Olympic Way was cordoned off, with restricted access to the front of Novotel and the Costa Coffee branch closed completely.

A spokesperson for Costa said yesterday: “The Costa Coffee store remains closed at the request of the police as their investigation remains ongoing. Customers can visit their nearest Costa Coffee store in Wembley London Designer Outlet.”
