Two adults and three children managed to escape a blaze that destroyed much of the roof of a house.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Riverside Gardens in Alperton at 10.23am this morning (August 29).
Most of the roof of a semi-detached house was damaged by flames.

One of the brigade's 32 metre turntable ladders was used to help put out the fire.
Two adults and three children left the property before firefighters arrived, London Fire Brigade said.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The brigade's 999 control officers received six calls about the fire which was brought under control by 11.35am.
Crews from Wembley, Acton and Ealing fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
