Armed police were seen running to reports of a man suspected of carrying a gun.
A handgun and ammunition were seized after a troop of armed officers were seen running across Harrow Road, in the Kensal Green area.
Unmarked police cars were also spotted converging on the area on Tuesday (July 4) at 3pm.

The Metropolitan Police says that a man was stopped in the area of Harrow Road and arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm.
A spokesperson said that there were no reports of any injuries and no shots fired.
Enquiries into the arrest continue.
