A road has been closed off since last night due to a police incident.

Cordons have been in place in Church Road, Harlesden, since late last night (June 17), with police seen around a large stretch of the area.

The Brent & Kilburn Times first became aware of the road shut both ways from 10.30pm yesterday, and it was still shut into the early hours of Saturday.

This afternoon it remains closed southbound between Neasden Lane and Mayo Road.

The 260 and 266 bus routes are being diverted.

The Met said a man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with stab injuries.

His condition is said to be not life-threatening or life-changing, Scotland Yard said.
