The first pictures of the crime scene after a double stabbing in Wembley have been shared.

One woman has died and another woman is in hospital after sustaining knife injuries.

Police were called to Neeld Crescent at 9.59am this morning (June 13) to reports of a stabbing.

Two women were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance.

One woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second woman was rushed to a north London hospital. Police said they await an update on her condition.

A police spokesperson said that enquiries are under way to identify and inform the next of kin of the two women.

A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They were taken to a north London police station where they remain at this time.
