Two teens have been released on bail after a video showed youths jumping on top of cars and throwing objects at police vehicles.

A video circulating online shows crowds screaming as a group of young people kicked an Ocado van and took turns to jump on cars driving through Engineers Way in Wembley Saturday (May 20).

Further footage showed youngsters stopping a 92 bus before clinging to the back of the vehicle and hanging on to it as it drove off.

In another clip, bangs could be heard as objects were repeatedly thrown at a police vehicle driving in the road.

Metropolitan Police previously said that two males, described as youths, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and assaulting police.

In a new update, a Met spokesperson said: “The two arrested – both youths – have been bailed to return pending further enquiries.

“There have been no further arrests.”

Officers were called to Wembley Park, near to Wembley Stadium, at 7.30pm on the Saturday to reports of disorder and youths damaging vehicles.

Videos circulating online showed people taking turns to jump on multiple cars and also kicking an Ocado van.

A Section 35 dispersal order, which is used to deal with individuals aged 10 or over engaging in anti-social behaviour, was put in place due to the incident.

According to the Met, there were no reports of any serious injuries and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
