A fare dodger has been ordered to pay £935.30 after avoiding a £6.30 train ticket in Willesden.

Krzysztof Woronowicz, of Rickmansworth Road in Watford, will have to pay hundreds more for dodging the fare at Willesden Junction on May 11 last year.

He was found guilty of entering a compulsory ticket area on the Transport for London regional railway network without a valid ticket.

The charge was proved in his absence at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on January 9.

The 39-year-old was fined £220 on top of being ordered to pay £6.30 in compensation, a £34 victim services surcharge, and costs of £675.

Woronowicz has until February 6 to pay the total.
