More than 400 residents have signed a petition agains the planned closure
A petition to save a library threatened with closure has garnered 400 signatures.
Preston Road Library, Wembley, could close at the beginning of April if the Labour-run council pushes ahead with plans to axe half the borough’s reading rooms in a drive estimated to save 1 million.
But opposition has mounted against the cuts with residents, traders, and schools rallying to save their local libraries.
