A man crashed stolen motorbike
A MAN was left fighting for his life after coming off a stolen motorbike in Neasden.
Police were called to North Circular Road on June 21 at about 1pm where they discovered the injured 34-year-old.
He was air lifted by helicopter to a London hospital in a serious condition and needed surgery on his left arm before being transferred to intensive care.
Information has confirmed the bike, a white and blue Suzuki GSXR 600, had been stolen from Kingthorpe Road, in Neasden, half an hour earlier.
The injured man was wearing a mesh vest and jeans with a helmet. He was not wearing any protective clothing.
Acting Detective Sergeant Sarb Kaur, from Brent Crime Advisory Team, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the motorbike and seen how the accident happened.”
The man is now responding to treatment and is in a stable condition.
Police are not looking for any other person involved in the incident.
