Poster for extra-martial affair website has attracted criticism
Council chiefs have been urged to remove a poster in Harlesden advertising a dating website for unfaithful partners.
The advert for the extra marital affair website, which has gone up in Park Parade as part of a London-wide advertising campaign, has attracted heavy criticism.
Such is the anger created by the poster that it has been defaced.
The site provides users with the chance to connect with what they claim are “thousands of local members who want to have an affair.”
It is also active on the social media front with over 9000 followers on twitter.
Greg Wessex has been crusading for the billboards to be banned.
Calling them ‘disgusting’ he added: “This website is a business built on the back of broken hearts, ruined marriages and damaged families.
“Shame on them.”
Harlesden councillor Helga Gladbaum told the Times she had issued Brent Council with instructions to have the ‘offending’ advertisements removed.
The website declined to comment.
