Michael Pavey stormed to victory following resignation of Judith Beckman
Labour have held on their seat following today’s by-election in the Barnhill ward in Wembley.
Labour candidate, Michael Pavey, stormed to victory claiming 2,366 votes to take first place against the Conservatives, who received 1,180 votes.
The by-election was held after former Labour councillor, Judith Beckman resigned earlier this year.
The Liberal Democrats did not field a candidate while Green Party candidate Martin Francis claimed 457.The labour Party snatched the seat from the Conservatives in 2006.
