The New Millennium Day Centre in Robson Avenue, held a special open day
The borough’s mayor was treated to some inspirational poetry performed and written by members of a day care centre in Willesden at a fundraising open day event.
A total of 23 adults at The New Millennium Day Centre in Robson Avenue, were also presented with special certificates of achievement by Cllr Bobby Thomas.
The certificates were given for the achievements on outreach courses which were provided by the College of North West London.
Other highlights of the event included a barbeque and performances by a steel pan band made up of students from Newman Catholic College in Harlesden Road, Harlesden.
