Eid prayer will take place at Kilburn Grange Park at 9am either tomorrow, Thursday or on Friday.
The day will depend on the sighting of the moon which will determine the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Eid prayer is short and historically held in open public space.
At the end of the prayer time people will greet each other in a traditional manner to express their joy.
Organisers are expecting a crowd of up to 800 people, including women and children.
The event has been organised by Qalam Education Centre on Kilburn High Road, Kilburn and Hampstead Islamic Centre and Camden Arabic Association.
Visitors must take their own prayer mats.
Kilburn Grange Park is adjacent to Kilburn High Road.
