The 350,000 square feet shopping centre in Wembley Park Boulevard, boasts more than 70 shops offering discounts of up to 70 per cent, 15 restaurants and a nine-screen Cineworld cinema.
Cllr Muhammed Butt, leader of Brent Council, officially declared the centre open at a ribbon ceremony which took place before an array of entertainment was launched including Bollywood dancing.
LDO will also hold a day-long street event next week to mark its opening.
The Sitare festival will be a colourful, vibrant, extravaganza which will take place on November 2.
James Saunders, chief operating officer for Quintain who own LDO, said: “It has been a fantastic day that has really whetted the appetite for the Sitare Festival next weekend.
“With this and all the exciting brands set to launch their outlet stores over the coming months there is much to look forward to at London Designer Outlet.”
