A hairdressing graduate from the College of North West London has achieved a hat trick of awards, after finding success at an industry award ceremony early this month.
Deborah Keogh was named College Stylist of the Year at the Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards 2013 at the Hilton London Metropole.
“I’m over the moon at winning this award,” she said. “It shows that I can succeed when I put my mind to it – even when trying something new.”
The ceremony was hosted by British comedian and DJ, Angie Le Mar and Arts, Culture and Entertainment Correspondent for BBC London News, Brenda Emmanus.
Her latest accolade completes what has been a successful year for Ms Keogh, who secured top spot in the ‘Hair-up’ category in the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists annual competition and in the avant-garde category at the Freelance Hair & Beauty Awards.
