A live World War One bomb has been unearthed at an address in Wembley.
Builders working at Corsham House in Victoria Court, discovered the artillery shell head with the detonator still attached on Monday morning.
Police called to the scene cordoned off the street to allow officers from the Met’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team to remove the 18ich device.
The residential street was reopened after an hour.
