After an absence of more than 20 years Sainsbury’s is set to return to Wembley at the end of February.
The supermarket giant will open ‘local’ store inside Brent Civic Centre in Engineer’s Way, Wembley. Creating around 25 new jobs.
Tom Holland, Sainsbury’s regional acquisitions manager, said: “This has been a great opportunity to work with Brent Council and to contribute to the on-going economic investment and regeneration of Wembley We are looking forward to serving the local community and adding to the area’s vibrant shopping offer.”
The new shop will trade from 7am-11pm daily and will play an active role in the Wembley community by supporting a locally nominated charity and Sainsbury’s Active Kids programme.
Sainsbury’s relocated their store from Wembley Shopping Square to Alperton in the early 1990s.
