The ticket hall inside Wembley Park tube station will close for good on November 30, transport bosses have announced today.
The station, which is served by the Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines, is the latest casualty of a London-wide operation by Transport for London that will see all ticket halls axed by the end of the year.
The station is used by thousands of people during events at nearby Wembley Stadium and the SSE Arena,
The controversial move will save TfL £50 million a year.
The closures at more than 250 stations will result in the loss of more than 900 jobs and has led to strikes by trade unions.
