A dinner lady in Harlesden could be crowned the best school chef in London after she made it through to the regional finals.
Dionne Lazarus, who works in Newfield Primary School in Longstone Avenue, will be battling it out with six rivals to make win the title and represent London in the national finals.
She will have 90 minutes to prepare four portions of a main course and a dessert suitable for an 11-year-old.
However Ms Lazarus has a maximum spend of just £1.30 for the cost of a single meal (ie. one main course and dessert).
The regional heat will take place on January 10 with the winner going through to the finals on March 2.
