Draw to be made in Bangkok at 1pm
Queens Park Rangers will find out their opponents in the first round of the League Cup on Friday when the draw is made.
The west Londoners are among the seeded teams in the southern section of the draw thanks to their place in the Championship.
It means they will avoid meeting the likes of fellow Londoners Fulham, Millwall and Brentford.
However, Ian Holloway’s men could instead come up against the likes of Wimbledon, Barnet or Football League new boys Forest Green Rovers.
The draw will take place at 1pm on Friday in Bangkok, with the competition now sponsored by Thai energy drink Carabao, will be streamed live on Facebook.
Last season, the west Londoners made it to the third round of the League Cup before losing at home to Sunderland.
Next Wednesday will also QPR discover their fixture list for the upcoming Championship season.
The fixtures will be revealed at 9am on June 21, with Rs fans hoping for a home game at Loftus Road on opening day.
