Gunmen have targeted a notorious snooker club building once said to be at the centre of a £1million drugs cartel in a late night gun attack.
Armed police rushed to the club in Kilburn High Road, Kilburn, after getting reports at 11.32pm of shots being fired from outside last Thursday.
A police spokesman said: “At this early stage it is believed a number of bullets were discharged into the door. Bullet casings have been recovered and taken for analysis.”
He added detectives are trying to trace the suspects, and confirmed there were no injuries.
During raids in 2012 police seized 130 self-sealed bags of cannabis and about £1,000 cash which led Camden Council to strip the first-floor club of its alcohol licence. It was also ordered to close for three months in 2013 and later reopened.
There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.
