A man has been charged with a firearm offence after staff were threatened in a coffee shop in Harlesden.
Djaffar Brahimi, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested on April 25 after being stopped and detained by police in the High Street three days earlier, Scotland Yard said.
Specialist firearms officers and a police helicopter crew were scrambled to a cafe in the High Street at 3.20pm on April 22 following reports of a man with a weapon.
The following day he was charged with three offences β possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, possession of cannabis, a class B drug, and possession of class C drugs.
He was kept in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court on Friday (Apr 27) then remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on May 25.
A spokesman said: βThe charges follow an incident at a coffee shop in High Street, Harlesden on April 22.β
