SOUL diva Gladys Knight wants fans to hop on board a 'Midnight Train to Love' as she embarks on her final UK tour.

The Motown singer will be saying goodbye as she visits venues across the country with a spectacular 19-piece live band and special guests including Tito Jackson and Dionne Warwick.

Gladys said: "If I'm going to say goodbye to the UK, I want to do it properly.

"It is one of my most special places to perform and I want to make sure that I give my all.

"I'm bringing my Vegas show to my UK fans and we're going to party - that I can promise you!"

The Georgian born legend has had an impressive career spanning six decades which has seen her win seven Grammy awards for her solo career and her performances with the iconic Gladys Knight & The Pips.

She has topped the charts on numerous occasions with records including 'If I Were Your Woman,' 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine,' and of course the number one smash hit 'Midnight Train to Georgia.'

More recently her soulful rendition of the 'Our Father' hymn at Michael Jackson's funeral in California moved many mourners to tears.

She said: "In my opinion Michael was the greatest entertainer in the world.

"I knew him personally and could separate him from that magical person on stage. He was so different in real life, so shy and soft-spoken. He loved to smile and was a real prankster!

"I'm really sad and will miss him but I know he's at peace now."

She is looking forward to returning to London to give her fans songs that she has not performed in years.

She said: "I love it, I really do! I fell in love with the place when I first toured here and have had wonderful experiences here.

"I'm looking forward to coming back to tell my fans: thank you, I love you and so long!"

To celebrate the launch of the tour Times has a pair of tickets up for grabs as well as a meet and greet with Gladys on the day.
